Responding to Questionnaires: How to Export/Import Questionnaire responses

Want to review or even intake your client's questionnaire responses offline, or outside of the system? Consider exporting their questionnaire to Excel and managing their responses there.

When accessing a questionnaire, such as the Business Attractiveness questionnaire from the left hand menu, you will be presented with the following screen, which includes and "Export/Import" prompt in the top right:

We suggest first exporting the questionnaire out of the system, which will provide you with a .xlsx file containing all of the questions and categories for your questionnaire, including any responses your client may have already input, such as their question scores and comments (in this instance, we exported a fresh questionnaire, as such these fields are blank).

The structure of this spreadsheet is very simple, you will notice a Tab present for each category within the subscription, and within these tabs, a row for each question, providing you or your client with the opportunity to input their score and a comment. Please note, many of the other fields will be locked to ensure the integrity of the imported data.

From here, you are able to update the responses to the questionnaire, review them offline, or even provide this sheet to your client for review if they are unable to access the system via other means, such as the shareable link generated from the "Share" prompt.

Once you have made your necessary adjustments, save & close your .xlsx file, and leverage the previously mentioned "Import" prompt to import your updated Questionnaire Responses.
