What are the "Transaction Types" in the Buy window?

• Original: for the purchase of normal shares, trusts, managed funds etc.
• Rights: made to existing shareholders, where each shareholder is entitled to one new share for a stated number of shares already held
• Dividend: paid out as income to existing shareholders out of company profits made.
• To record the breakdown of dividends, please do this within the income Subfolder Bonus Issues: bonus share given to existing shareholders

Note: To buy a normal share (e.g. Telstra, BHP), leave “Transaction Type” as Original
