StockMarket Plus
Why is there a "Stop Loss Exit Price" and a "Target Price"in the Buy window
Here, you can set a limit price to which you would like to exit from out of the stock that you have purchased in order to make sure that you only lose a pre-determined amount of money. This only works in conjunction with a Data Download service (see chapter 6), or if you are updating the prices manually each day. The program will tell you that your stock has reached the stop loss exit price with the descriptions listed below in the table.
The opposite of the Stop loss exit price, the target price will let you know when a stock has reached a certain level in order to let you know that a specific profit has been reached, and once again works only when price data is being updated in Stockmarket Plus. The program will let you know that it has reached the target price in the Current Transaction through notification section of the Report bar.
